George Smith Horseboxes

GSH is a leader in the design and build of horseboxes, selling primarily into British horseracing but also supplying boxes for professional and amateur riders up and down the country. The mainstay of the range is the 2 horse models, from the award winning George Smith Horsebox built in Westbury and finished in the end clients livery and branding, to the successful Ameline and Paragan boxes, featuring 4 passenger seats plus driver, ideal for commercial use or out competing with the family.

2022 has seen greater emphasis on proactive sales and marketing activities – from attending Badminton Horse Trials with a trade stand featuring two of our new boxes, through to an advertising campaign in the Racing Post and Horse and Hound magazine, a series of email shots to licenced racehorse trainers and updating the web site. We have also launched the new Paragan range of horseboxes into the UK market as sole distributors and plan a road show to get maximum visibility of the new range in front of our customers.

Catherine has been our chief “scribe”, writing much of the new promotional material and providing the impetus to our marketing efforts. She has also done pre sales work for us and really understands the racing industry and equestrian markets. Next up is to increase our digital activity and social media presence, she says…..
